Upcoming performances at the Chicago Lyric Opera
Matthew Polenzani returns to Chicago, first as Foresto in a concert performance of Attila Highlights on April 11, in which he’s joined by a fantastic cast also featuring Christian van Horn, Tamara Wilson and Quinn Kelsey, with Enrique Mazzola on the podium, and then in a Gala celebrating Sir Andrew Davis. In this Gala, which will take place on May 16, he sings Tom Rakewell in Stravinsky’s English-language masterpiece The Rake’s Progress, alongside Janai Brugger and Kyle Ketelsen.
