‘Tosca’ at the Metropolitan Opera

Matthew Polenzani returns to the Metropolitan Opera this month as Cavaradosssi in Puccini’s Tosca. With performances on March 30, April 2, 5, 8, 12, & 15, Polenzani stars as the ardent painter-revolutionary in Puccini’s classic thriller featuring David McVicar’s renowned production.

Matthew shares the stage with a star-studded cast, including Liudmyla Monastyrska and Angela Gheorghiu in the title role, Željko Lučić as Scarpia, and Patrick Carfizzi as Sacristan. Domingo Hindoyan conducts. The performance on April 8 will be broadcast live via the Toll Brothers–Metropolitan Opera International Radio Network.
